Published: 2008-05-30
Singer-songwriter Jakob Dylan is hitting the road this summer. Known as the son of musical legend Bob Dylan and lead singer of alt-rock band the Wallflowers, Dylan has been surrounded by music all his life.

His band the Wallflowers exploded in the late nineties with the release of their multi-platinum album Bringing Down the Horse that spawned hits like "One Headlight" and "The Difference". In 1998 they continued their success with a hit single "Heroes", which is a David Bowie cover; their version was featured on the soundtrack for the film Godzilla.

His debut solo record Seeing Things is set to hit stores on June 10 but before its release Dylan will hit the road. The trek will include a few festival stops including The Bonnaroo Music Festival and Newport Folkfest. Here is where he will be stopping in Canada:

July 10, Ottawa, ON Ottawa Bluesfest
July 13, Winnipeg, MB Winnipeg Folkfest
August 9, Edmonton, AB Edmonton Folk Festival
