Whistler Music Festival Announces Acts

Summer music festival season is in full swing and new ones are popping up everywhere. Whistler, BC, best known for their winter ski hills is giving folks something to do there in the summer time. The inaugural Whistler Music Festival will take place on July 19-20 at, where else, a ski hill Blackcomb Mountain.

The two day festival will feature Serena Ryder, Bedouin Soundclash and hip hop group the Roots on the first night and Medeski Martin & Wood, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Broken Social Scene and Elvis Costello and The Imposters on the second night.

Single day tickets are $67.50 while two day passes are $120. Tickets go on sale May 29 and the lineup up is expected to grow.
