Plants and Animals will be doing a world tour this summer starting on Canada Day this year. The Montreal trio released their first full-length record this past February entitled Parc Avenue so the tour will be in support of its debut.
The tour so far is made up of 29 dates in North American and Europe, first in the United States and some concerts in Scotland, England, France, and more. They will then proceed to do some shows in the west part of America and finish off in their home country with 10 dates. The Canadian gigs kick off on July 1st in Toronto, Ontario and end on the 20th of August in Abitibi, Quebec.
Plants and Animals previously released in 2007 an EP entitled With/Avec on Secret City Records and a self-titled instrumental folk album in 2004 on Ship at Night Records. The band's latest, Parc Avenue also features string parts by Sarah Neufeld of The Arcade Fire.
