Passion Conference Releases Live Messages to Retail Outlets

Published: 2008-05-05
Since 1998, founder of the Passion movement and sixstepsrecords, Louie Giglio, has delivered messages about the awe-inspiring revelations from Jesus Christ such as His power that's big enough to create the stars, yet intricate enough to fashion together trillions of cells that make up every facet of human life. The Passion Talk Series is now introducing these talks to retail outlets for the first time and includes three of Giglio's most recent live messages, such as Indescribable, which came to Toronto at the Ricoh Coliseum in 2005.

The talks in the series include Indescribable, How Great Is Our God, and Hope-When Life Hurts Most. Each talk is accompanied by a corresponding music CD with top sixstepsrecords recording artists David Crowder*Band, Charlie Hall, Chris Tomlin, and Matt Redman. Each DVD/CD combo will retail for $14.99.

"The amazing thing about this series, is that without any real promotion more than 100,000 copies have already been sold directly through Passion's website," says Peter York, EMI CMG Label Group president. "We believe making these talks available through wider retail distribution will finally allow us to begin meeting the growing demand for this message."

More than 500,000 students have attended a Passion event during the past decade, and more than 1.6 million copies of live Passion event albums have been sold. Passion and Louie Giglio have been featured in many media outlets including The New York Times and the cover of Christianity Today.

Passion Conference will be coming to Vancouver, BC on October 6, 2008 as part of their word tour; for more information please visit www.268generation.com.
