Suzie McNeil, Matthew Good Play Mississauga Waterfront Festival

Published: 2008-05-02
Though Mississauga's annual waterfront festival is full of fun, family, and food there's always great Canadian music there too. Friday night will feature alt-country band the Sadies opening for alt-rocker Matthew Good. After a slew of hit records in the nineties with the Matthew Good Band the frontman went solo to equal success. His most recent record Hospital Music came out last July.

Saturday night's festivities will feature up and coming rockers Crash Parallel along with Colin James. The blues-rock guitarist has taken home six Junos since hitting the Canadian music scene with his self-titled debut in 1988. In 2006, he released his third album with the Little Big Band featuring swing and jive tunes like "Feelin' Good" and "Lonely Avenue".

The final day of the fest will feature former Rockstar INXS contestant and former We Will Rock You cast member Suzie McNeil as well as former Triumph frontman Rik Emmett.
