Sarah Harmer, Great Lake Swimmers Play The Blue Revue in Toronto

The Blue Revue is one-time charity show that will take place this summer in Toronto, with its aim to benefit musicians. It will take place at the Phoenix Concert Theatre on the 19th of June and feature Canadian acts such as the Great Lake Swimmers, Sarah Harmer, Hawksley Workman and Serena Ryder. All proceeds will be donated to The Blue Marble Music Fund, which helps provide music education to aspiring artists who may not have the funds to progress in their career and they also offer monetary awards, bursaries and scholarships.

The Blue Marble Music Fund was started this year in dedication to music industry professional Bonnie O'Donnell, who worked as a manager at Pandyamonium Artist Management and passed on earlier this year. Tickets are already on sale and cost $30. O'Donnell managed Ryder and Workman, as well as Jully Black.

Ryder won a Juno award at the beginning of the month for New Artist of the Year. Workman came out with Between the Beautifuls this past January, while Harmer's last record was 2005's I'm a Mountain and the Great Lake Swimmers' last effort was last year's Ongiara.
