Maroon 5 and Counting Crows Embark on Tour, Stop in Toronto

Published: 2008-04-14
Pop rockers Maroon 5 are teaming up with 90's alternative band Counting Crows for a summer tour. Maroon 5 hit the scene in 2002 with infectious singles like "Harder to Breathe" and "This Love" off of their debut album Songs About Jane. In 2007 they avoided the sophomore slump with their album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. The band toured behind the record in North America last fall and has just wrapped up a world tour.

Counting Crows shot to success in the 90's with the hit single "Mr. Jones" off of the album August and Everything After. Earlier this month they released their most recent record Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings their first new album since 2002.

As if this pairing in pop-rock paradise wasn't enough, they will be supported on the first half of their tour by rockers Augustana and on the second half by singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles.

The tour makes one Canadian stop with Sara Bareilles:

August 19, Toronto, ON Molson Amphitheatre
