People in Planes Release New Music this Summer

Published: 2008-04-04
Welsh formation People in Planes are coming out with album number two this summer entitled Beyond the Horizon.

Beyond the Horizon is the follow up to the quartet's 2006 disc, As Far as the Eye Can See, and will be released via Wind-Up Records. It was recorded both in the UK and in the United States. In the past, the band has worked with Matt Squire, Dan Austin and Raine Maida (Our Lady Peace frontman), though exact details of whom they worked with for the new record have yet to be revealed.
The first official single is supposed to be the song, "M'aidez, m'aidez", which should come out sometime after April, when their co-headlining US tour with Jupiter One is completed. A taste of the upcoming record can be found now though by downloading "Pretty Buildings" off iTunes.

Last month, People in Planes played a showcase during the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.
