Travis Finished Sixth Album

Published: 2008-03-27
Scottish formation Travis have finished the follow up to their 2007 record, The Boy with No Name, though no title nor exact release date has been announced.

The rock quintet was recording in London, England at the end of February and the beginning of March for about two weeks at RAK studios. The new disc will be the group's sixth studio LP and should contain 11 tracks. Travis hopes to release the effort in late Summer of 2008, which was recorded using technology from the 1960's.

During a brief tour of the UK this past February, Travis showcased several of the new tunes, which include, "Broken Mirror", "Before You Were Young", "Chinese Blues" and "Something Anything".
