Renowned jazz and blues guitarist, Jeff Healey, died on March 2 at the age of 41 from his longstanding battle with cancer. To honour his life's work, Healey's friends and family have planned two shows in Toronto on May 3 and 4th.
The two concerts will feature the Jazz Wizards and Healey's House Band; more lineup information will be announced shortly. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Daisy's Eye Cancer Fund, a charity that assists the families of children with retinoblastoma, the rare cancer that claimed Healey's sight when he was a baby.
