Scottish siblings and musicians The Proclaimers are touring Canada this spring and they're taking Canadian singer-songwriter Jeremy Fisher along for the ride. The Proclaimers and Jeremy Fisher will play 11 dates across the country, beginning in Halifax on the 11th of April and ending on the 10th of May in Vancouver.
The Proclaimers, who have been active since 1983, are made of up of a pair of identical twin brothers, most known for their song, "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" from the movie, "Benny & Joon" and a commercial for Molson Canadian beer.
Fisher's most famous songs are perhaps "High School" from his 2001 debut, Back Porch Spirituals, and "Cigarette" from last year's Goodbye Blue Monday, the homemade video for which became a sort of underground YouTube phenomenon.
