U2 Enter Studio for Next Effort

Published: 2008-02-21
Irish band U2 are being said to have begun writing and recording their follow up to How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, which came out 4 years ago. NME reports that the rock quartet are currently at work in their hometown of Dublin with producers Eno and Daniel Lanois, though no date for its release is known.

The untitled record will be the group's twelfth studio disc, though a 'Best of' compilation named U218 Singles was released back in 2006. U2 have been together since 1976.
