Hip hop collective The Roots are working on their next album, titled Rising Down, which is set for release at the end of April, with many well known artists in the music industry.

Lead singer of pop punk group Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump, who has contributed vocals to songs by other acts such as Gym Class Heroes, will be guesting on the new The Roots record, as well as rappers Mos Def and Common. NME.com says that other artists who will reportedly collaborate with the Philadelphia group are Lupe Fiasco and Q-Tip.

The Roots' last disc came out in 2006 and was named Game Theory.
