Yeah Yeah Yeahs Begin Work on Next Record

Published: 2008-01-23
Since last December, American indie rockers the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been hard at work on their next untitled album, which they have started composing songs for and recording in Massachusetts. The new record will be the group's third musical effort after 2006's Show Your Bones, which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Alternative Album in 2007.

No further details have been made public yet as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are still in the beginning stages of the disc. But the members of the group have been keeping themselves busy, with singer Karen O dabbling in music videos, recently co-directing one for Tiny Masters of Today. Guitarist Nick Zinner has been remixing songs for other bands and drummer Brian Chase has both been lending his skills to other acts as well as his own solo project.
