Raine Maida, frontman for Canadian band Our Lady Peace, will be going on a solo tour across his native country in March in support of his first solo record, which was released late last year. Eleven dates have been scheduled across Canada starting on the 10th of March and ending on the 27th of the same month. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 18th, and will mark the first time Maida goes on a headlining tour by himself.
The Hunter's Lullaby came out on the 13th of November 2007 and is a 10-track debut of folk material that is quite a departure from the alternative rock sound that Maida is known for with Our Lady Peace. The first single is "Yellow Brick Road", and came out prior to the record's release. Previously, Maida released an EP in November of 2006 entitled Love Hope Hero, which gave fans a taste of what was to come a year later.
