Newworldson Ready ‘Salvation Station’ and Spring Tour with Newsboys

Published: 2007-12-11
Canadian soul band Newworldson are putting the finishing touches on their latest recording, Salvation Station set for release on February 12, 2008. The album is produced by Newworldson and Justin Koop (Billy Talent, Silverstein) and features 11 songs of energetic pop, soul and gospel.

"It's difficult to classify our sound because we draw from different genres, but really, our foundation is soul music," says keyboardist/vocalist Joel Parisien. "And soul music definitely has sacred roots. So, we want to return this familiar music to its sacred roots, all the while leading people to a place of praise, release, revival and worship."

The band have been on tour with labelmates Newsboys as of late, and will again be joining Newsboys for a spring tour, which begins in February.
