Published: 2007-12-10
Swedish pop ensemble Abba will have a museum opening in their name in less than two years from now in their hometown, Stockholm.

June 2009 marks the date for the Abba museum that is set to be three-stories high and is being built for over $31 million dollars Canadian. The quartet, who stopped being active a quarter of a decade ago, will be donating musical memorabilia to the museum, such as clothing and instruments.

There will be a recording room modeled on Polar Studios, where Abba recorded many of their hits, where museum visitors can make recordings of their own of Abba singles. There will also be a disco room for fans to dance to Abba music as well as a room full of samples of the Swedish musicians' wardrobe.
