Five For Fighting Enlists Help of Fellow Musicians for CD for American Troops

Published: 2007-11-23
Five for Fighting's John Ondrasik has compiled an album of songs donated from fellow musicians for U.S. troops, whether they are currently in service or veterans of the military.

Ondrasik contributed, free of charge, his own hit single, "100 Years" to the compilation and also managed to get track donations from artists such as Josh Groban, Sarah McLachlan, Billy Joel and The Fray.

Hard copies will be produced and given to American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and Ondrasik himself has been distributing copies during his tour of Japan, Hawaii and Guam. Army & Air Force members can also download a copy of the full disc via the Exchange Service website (http://www.aafes.com) with their valid military ID numbers.
