U2 Completes Unfinished 20-Year-Old Song on Facebook

Published: 2007-11-19
After having just recently instated "Artist Pages" for musicians, Facebook, the social networking site mainly known for its bringing together of the so-called common folk, has become the first to preview U2's newly completed song, "Wave of Sorrow", written but never finished two decades ago during their Joshua Tree sessions.

The Irish rock band are re-releasing their 1987 record that will feature never-before-heard tracks such as "Wave of Sorrow" tomorrow, November 20th, and decided to give fans who use the highly popular website a taste of what they will get to hear on the deluxe edition of Joshua Tree.

Singer Bono discusses "Wave of Sorrow" in a short film that can be viewed via Facebook application iLike while it plays in the background.

2004's How to Dismantle an Atom Bomb was U2's last record of new music.
