Celine Dion’s 1st Album in Over 4 Years out This Week

Quebec's Celine Dion released her first English-language album in over four years yesterday.

The album is called Taking Chances, it is the singer's 13th record in English but 35th in total. It is being releasing in several different formats, such as the regular single CD version, a deluxe CD/DVD version, a collector's edition with perfume, and a 2-pack available exclusively at Walmart.

Next February, Dion will be starting her world tour in support of the new material, which will bring her to 5 different continents and ends almost a year later at the end of January 2009. Dion's contract at Las Vegas's Caesar's Palace to appear five nights a week for the last four years officially ends on December 15th, 2007.

Taking Chances contains 16 tracks, and were produced by a variety of individuals, such as Ben Moody, Guy Roche, Peer Astrom and David Hodges.
