Country Music Award Winners Revealed

Wednesday night, November 7th, marked this year's Country Music Association Awards, which took place at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

They were broadcast live on ABC and featured several hosts from both the music and television industries: actors Kate Walsh, Kimberly Williams Paisley, James Denton, Sara Evans and LeAnn Rimes.

Country stars Sara Evans and LeAnn Rimes shared duties with ABC stars James Denton ("Desperate Housewives"), Kimberly Williams Paisley ("According to Jim") and Kate Walsh ("Grey's Anatomy").

The big winners of the evening were Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, who each took home two awards. Kenny Chesney won Entertainer of the Year, which he also won last year. George Strait won, for the sixth year in a row, the award for Album of the Year, for his disc, It Just Comes Natural.

The other winners were Bill Anderson, Buddy Cannon and Jamey Johnson for Song of the Year for Strait's single, "Give it Away", Taylor Swift for the Horizon Award, Tracy Lawrence for his collaboration with Chesney and Tim McGraw for Musical Event, Sugarland for Top Vocal Duo, Rascal Flatts for Vocal Group and Jerry Douglas for Musician of the Year.
