Next year, Canadian Avril Lavigne has set a 32-date tour across Canada and the United States in support of her newest record, The Best Damn Thing.
Opening for Lavigne will be Boys Like Girls, and the tour will start in British Columbia on March 5th, 2008. Dates have been scheduled until the 9th of May of next year, and will take the singer to cities such as, Prince George (B.C.), Saskatoon (SK), Cleveland (OH), Uncasville (CT), Fairfax (VA), Biloxi (MS), Hidalgo (TX), and Spokane (WA).
Lavigne's third album came out in April of this year and has sold over a million copies to date. It spawned the number hit single, "Girlfriend", as well as "Keep Holding On", which is from the soundtrack to the movie, Eragon.
