Doves Working on Fourth Record

Published: 2007-11-08
British band the Doves are currently working on their fourth full length disc, which they have been writing and recording since this past May.

There is no title for the forthcoming album, which is slated for an early 2008 release, but the indie rock formation's website have announced the titles of three songs so far: "Winter Hill", "10.03" and "Disco Eyam". Eight songs are so far complete, but another eight are scheduled to be recorded in the near future.

The record is being produced by Dan Austin, who has previously worked with trip hop group Massive Attack, among others in Cheshire, England.

This Doves record will be the follow up to their last effort, Some Cities, which came out in 2005.
