Muse Already Planning Next Album

Published: 2007-10-16
English trio Muse have told the media that that the follow up to their fourth record, 2006's Black Holes and Revelations, is already in the works, and that it may possibly be more electronic in sound than what they have done in the past.

Preproduction work as well as the actual writing and recording process will be done only next year, as both singer Matthew Bellamy and drummer Dominic Howard have been quoted as saying, but the progressive rockers have already tons of ideas of what they would like to tackle next. Along with a more 'dance music' feel to the songs, Muse may also try to incorporate classical or symphonic undertones on the next album, and maybe even fitting in a Mediterranean tour somewhere along the way.

Muse also have a live DVD slated for release next month called Live at Wembley 2007, which will contain the performances of their two Wembley gigs from this past June.
