Britney Spears’ Album Gets New Earlier Release Date

Published: 2007-10-15
Britney Spears' latest album Blackout has just received a new release date.

The fifth album from the American singer will be out on October 30th instead of November 13th, and will be the first record of new material for Spears in 4 years. Jive/Sony BMG, the label releasing Blackout, made the decision to advance the CD release due to online leaks of the album's tracks.

"Gimme More" is the first, already highly publicized single which opens Spears' forthcoming disc. The singer received help from the likes of Pharrell Williams, T-Pain and much more this time around.
