Black Eyed Peas Play for Charity

Published: 2007-10-02
American hip hop group the Black Eyed Peas recently performed a show for impoverished children in Mexico.

The benefit concert took place in Mexico City's National Auditorium, where proceeds from the show would be donated to improve the education of over 1,000 Mexican children.

Each member of the four members of the group feels a special connection to the country, whether it be through heritage or love of the Hispanic culture. The Black Eyed Peas also hope to eventually work with Latino artists such as Shakira and Alejandro Fernandez.

Their last album was 2005's Monkey Business, though the group has started to work on their fifth record called, The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies), which is slated for a November 2008 release.
