Cirque du Soleil and CN Tower Attempt Guinness World Record

Published: 2007-09-26
Cirque du Soleil sent their Kooza contortionists to the CN Tower to make Guinness World Record history yesterday (Sept 25). The group was attempting to set the Guiness World Record for the Highest Circus Act ever performed; the performance took place 342 meters above ground on the Glass Floor observation deck. Guiness World Record officials will confirm that the Cirque du Soleil
performers made the cut by October 3.

To celebrate Cirque du Soleil's longest Toronto run, they have teamed up with CN Towers to offer savings. Every guest purchasing a ticket at the Kooza Box Office at the Port Lands will receive a voucher to purchase CN Tower Total Tower tickets for only $25 until November 30, 2007. CN Tower guests will receive a voucher for a 25% discount on a KOOZA ticket when purchasing category 2 or 3
online, see www.cntower.com and www.cirquedusoleil.com for further details.
