The Killers Unveil Title of B-Sides Record

Published: 2007-09-25
Indie rock band The Killers announced last month that they would be releasing a rarities compilation album by the end of this year and the title, as well as release date has just been confirmed to be Sawdust on the 13th of November.

Songs that were not used but recorded during the sessions for their latest disc, 2006's Sam's Town, will most likely see the light of day on Sawdust as well as a song called "Tranquilize" that was made for the special Lou Reed collection. No further details have been revealed about the album.

As also previously reported, the Las Vegas formation have also recorded a holiday track in the similar vein of what they did last Christmas, in order to raise funds for the prevention and treatment of AIDS in Africa by way of the Product (RED) campaign. The single is called, "Don't Shoot Me Santa", and will be out on the 1st of December.
