Blur Planning to Reunite for Another Album

Published: 2007-09-12
Members of British rockers Blur have announced their plans to reunite to record a brand new album next month together, which would make it their first in five years.

Bassist Alex James told NME.com that all members of the quartet have been keeping in contact with one another lately, tossing around ideas for studio sessions that will hopefully take place starting in October.

The last Blur album was 2003's Think Thank, during which guitarist Graham Coxon left the group. The upcoming writing and recording time in the studio is supposed to include Coxon though, along with the other Blur members, vocalist Damon Albarn and drummer Dave Rowntree.

So far, no other details have been released.
