Sigur Ros Exclusive Double Album Out This Fall

Published: 2007-08-31
Icelandic quartet Sigur Ros will be releasing a two-disc set of rare songs and acoustic tracks as well as a live DVD on November 6th this year.

The post-rock group is putting out a compilation entitled Hvarf/Heim, which means "disappeared/home" in their native language. The first CD will contain past b-sides that were unreleased (although some were played acoustically on this year's summer tour), and the second CD will have live acoustic versions of songs recorded in 2006-2007 from Sigur Ros' discography.

"Heima" (aka "homeland") is the title of the DVD that will come out on the same day as the special CD and it will be made up of footage from free performances the band played in 2006 in Iceland.
