Shania Twain To Launch North American Tour

Canadian country music queen Shania Twain is ready to launch a tour of North America. The 40 city tour includes eight shows in Twain's homeland.

Twain is touring in support of her 2002 release "Up" which has sold over nine million copies around the world to date. Twain's previous release "Come On Over" has sold over 34 million copies worldwide. Last November a DVD of Twain's Chicago show on July 27 was released. The same concert was used for the Shania Twain TV special which aired last August. The DVD "Shania Twain Up! Live in Chicago" includes footage of six songs which were not aired on the TV special.

May 10 London – John Labatt Centre
June 8 Winnipeg – Winnipeg Arena
June9 Saskatoon – Saskatchewan Place
June 12 Edmonton – Rexall Place
June 14 Calgary – Pengrowth Saddledome
June 17 Vancouver – PNE/Pacific Coliseum

Fans who cannot wait to see Shania Twain in concert can catch the singer on CMT at the CMT Flame Worthy Awards. Twain has been nominated for two awards – Female Video of the Year and Video of the Year. Both nominations are for her video of "Forever and For Always".
