The Killers to Release Rarities Compilation This Year

Published: 2007-08-24
Indie rockers The Killers will release a compilation of rare tracks and b-sides later this year, along with a new Christmas single just in time for the holiday season.

The as-yet untitled album is slated for a November release date, though no track listing has been set in stone. Songs that are in consideration, according to NME.com, are tracks like "Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself" and "Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town". Other ideas include remixes of songs by The Killers such as version of "Mr. Brightside", done by Jacques Lu Cont, via the Thin White Duke Mix.

As they did with the song, "A Great Big Sled" last year, The Killers also plan to release a band new Christmas single called "Don't Shoot Me Santa" in order to benefit Product (RED) which attempts to help in the fight against AIDS.

The Killers most recent album came out late last year and was called Sam's Town.
