Eagles Announce New Album and Tour

Published: 2007-08-01
American rock band the Eagles are not only working on their first new record of new music in over 25 years but have plans to tour in support of it in 2008.

The expected title is The Long Road to Eden and has been in production for almost five years, and as Billboard.com reports, vocals are currently being finished and the tracks are starting to be mixed. It has been said that the album could be out by the end of October this year.

The Long Road to Eden will be the Eagles' seventh studio record, following The Long Run, which came out in 1979 and will include songs penned by all members of the band: Joe Walsh, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Timothy B. Schmit.
