Here is What is is the premiere feature film directed by multiple Grammy and Juno award winning musician Daniel Lanois. The Quebec native responded to what people have been asking him to do for 30 years; to show the creative process of his work in a recording studio. Here is What is tracks Lanois as he speaks with old friend Brian Eno during a visit to Morocco where they are working with Irish friends, U2. Lanois also visits Louisiana and sits with Brian Blade at the Zion Baptist Church where a roaring rendition of "This May Be The Last Time" is delivered by Brian's father, Brady Blade Sr.

Lanois says of this feature film achievement, ""The mystery of the recording studio is what keeps me coming back. Many rewards have come to me through this laboratory. It is my temple, my domain, my frustration and my love. But most importantly, it is my place of innovation." The premiere of the film will be at the Toronto International Film Festival this September 2007.
