Manic Street Preachers Release 8th Album

Welsh rockers the Manic Street Preachers released their eighth full-length album yesterday in North America (July 24th) called Send Away the Tigers.

The 11-track album features a cover of John Lennon's "Working Class Hero" and was released by their American label Red Int/Red Ink. The first single from the album is "Your Love Alone is Not Enough" and features vocals from The Cardigan's frontwoman Nina Persson.

It came out in the UK on May 7th, and was mixed by the brother of Tom Lord-Alge, Chris and produced by Dave Eringa, Greg Haver and Loz Williams.

Send Away the Tigers is the follow up to the Manic Street Preachers' 2004 record Lifeblood.
