Annie Lennox Teams Up with Chorus of Female Artists for New Album

Scottish musician and vocalist Annie Lennox's forthcoming studio record is called Songs of Mass Destruction and will officially be released on October 1st.

It will be the fourth solo album for the former member of new wave duo Eurythmics and the first single will come out on September 24th, entitled "Dark Road". While no full track listing has been announced, two confirmed songs are "Fingernail Moon" and "Sing".

The song "Sing" will feature a chorus of famous female voices, including Madonna, Sarah McLachlan, Faith Hill, Gladys Knight, Melissa Etheridge and Pink.

Lennox's new record was produced by Glen Ballard (Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill), David A. Stewart and Tom Lord-Alge.
