Gnarls Barkley Speak Out About New Record

Published: 2007-07-19
Multiple Grammy Award winning duo Gnarls Barkley have begun speaking about their upcoming sophomore record, which they hope to be out sometime before the end of 2007.

While there is no definitive title for the album, Gnarls Barkley producer Danger Mouse, one half of the musical collaboration, did state that he did not want there to be a single standout track that would overshadow the rest of the songs on the new record, like their 2006 hit single, "Crazy", did for their debut, St. Elsewhere.

Cee-Lo, vocalist and the other half of Gnarls Barkley and Danger Mouse certainly have a number of songs written, but not yet enough for an entire album. The group's music can be loosely defined to be alternative, mixed with soul, R&B and hip hop.
