Matchbox Twenty Records New Album

Published: 2007-07-10
Matchbox Twenty is set to release a new album, Exile On Mainstream, in early October. This is the band's first release since their 2002 album, More Than You Think You Are. The four-piece from Orlando, Florida, has sold over 39 million albums across the world to date. Exile On Mainstream will combine songs from the band's first three albums, as well as new material.

Matchbox Twenty had temporarily been on hiatus to allow time for the members to pursue individual projects. They have now regrouped with producer Steve Lillywhite, who has worked with the Rolling Stones, Switchfoot, U2 and Chris Cornell to record and produce Exile.
