Tickets went on sale on July 4 for Feist's European tour this fall. The Canadian singer-songwriter will perform in Great Britain, France, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, and Belgium. During this tour, the Juno-winner will also be back in North America, playing one show in New York City, and one in Montreal at the Osheaga Music Festival, as well as a show across the Pacific in Japan. The tour will begin August 17, and won't wrap up until mid-October.
The tour promotes Feist's latest album, The Reminder, which includes a cover of Nina Simone's "Sea Lion Woman", and her own "1 2 3 4" and "My Moon, My Man." Over the length of her career, Feist has collaborated and performed with many talented artists, including The New Deal, Apostle of Hustle, Bright Eyes and The Postal Service. She is part of indie "supergroup" Broken Social Scene, which also features Emily Haines and James Shaw of Metric, and Amy Millan, who performs both as a solo artist and as part of the group Stars.
