Dave Gahan, lead singer of new wave band Depeche Mode, is set to release his second solo album this October, called Hourglass.
Hourglass will be the follow up to his 2003 solo debut Paper Monsters. Gahan worked on and produced the record with long-time co-writers Andrew Philpott and Christian Eigner. It was recorded in New York and mixed by Tony Hoffer, who has previously worked with Beck.
Although there is no definitive release date as of yet, a few song titles have been confirmed, such as: "Use You", "A Little Lie", "Love Will Leave" and "Miracles".
The last Depeche Mode album was 2005's Playing the Angel, the group's eleventh full-length disc.
