White Stripes Send Icky Thump out on the Road

Published: 2007-06-22
Alternative rock duo the White Stripes have begun their trek with their new album, Icky Thump, by playing a club show. They played Fillmore in Irving Plaza last night in New York City.

The duo played a plethora of hits that included much of their older collection of songs. The set included "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" to the newer "I'm Slowly Turning Into You". "Hotel Yorba" and "Astro" were also played that evening.

The band's official tour doesn't start until June 24 in British Columbia, but if you are in the area tonight, you can catch them play Los Angeles at the old Tower Records store in Hollywood.
