Bob Marley Releasing Remix Album on USB, Re-Releasing 'Exodus'

Next month, a compilation CD featuring remixes of classic Bob Marley songs that have been approved by the late reggae artist's family for the first time will be made available for public consumption. On July 24th, the 12-song album, Roots, Rock, Remixed, will feature DJs such as Bombay Dub Orchestra, King Kooba and DJ Spooky with their versions of Marley's songs, such as "Lively Up Yourself", "African Herbsman" and "Rainbow Country", respectively.

A very special limited edition of Marley's own highly successful 1977 album, Exodus, will also be re-released for its 30th anniversary this year. Fans can purchase the full album on a USB flash drive on June 4th via Marley's official website. According to, this is the "first artist album ever released in the new USB memory stick format".
