Natalie Grant Honoured By Arizona Safe House for Girls Escaping Abuse

Published: 2007-05-18
Dove Award winning singer Natalie Grant has received the honour of an Arizona safe house set to open next year called "Natalie's House" for teen girls who have been abused. Arizonans for the Protection of Exploited Children and Adults (APECA) will be an eight bed residence where girls can escape commercial sexual exploitation and abuse and receive food, clothing and education including their unique equine therapy program.

Grant's ongoing efforts to raise awareness and eradicate human trafficking around the world is what provoked the honor, "To know that a place like this exists, where these precious souls can find rehabilitation and begin their second chance at life, is probably one of the greatest honors I've ever received."

For more information on Natalie's House please visit www.protectchild.org or contact the APECA at 623-247-6026.
