American Idol: Idol Gives Back Makes Tracks Available on iTunes

Last night's American Idol 2-hour special featured a whole slew of stars like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Il Divo and Gwen Stefani."Idol Gives Back" was an effort of the series to fundraise for young people in poverty in both Africa and the USA.

Activist and U2 lead singer Bono addressed the six finalists in the competition about the One Campaign and Make Poverty History and they soon after performed "American Prayer" written by Bono and Dave Stewart.

iTunes currently has some of the American Idol: Idol Gives Back tracks and video footage from last night available for purchase with more to be available in the next few days. Net proceeds will go to Charity Projects Entertainment Fund (CPEF) to help children living in poverty in the US and Africa.
