Fefe Dobson Rocks Out For A Good Cause

Published: 2007-04-23
Canadian songstress Fefe Dobson is rocking out for a good cause as she headlines Siren Sounds, a night of music to support Interval House, a Canadian woman's shelter.

Interval House is Canada's first facility for abused women and children, and with Dobson's sister having experienced an abusive relationship, this was a cause that was close to her heart.

The benefit will take place in Toronto on May 12 at the Opera House, and it will team Dobson up with the likes of Anjulie, Zoe Bentley, Sarah Jean Villa, Melissa Bathory, Goodbye Glory and 2005's Canadian Idol Melissa O'Neil.
Dobson was set to release a new record titled Sunday Love featuring some big name women of rock from Joan Jett to Cyndi Lauper, but she was dropped by Island Records before the album was released. She is currently in the demo recording stages of a new album.
