Rush Tour with Snakes and Arrows

Published: 2007-03-27
Canadian prog-rock mainstays Rush are taking their new record Snakes and Arrows on the road.

Making records since the mid-seventies Rush has established themselves as a rock force to be reckoned with, with several Junos, platinum records and a spot in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Their most recent record Snakes and Arrows is set to hit stores on May 1 in North America, and will release on April 30th in the UK. The first single off of the record is "Far Cry", which hit radio stations earlier this month.

The band will take to the road in June and travel all over North America ending off in Canada at the end of September. Here's where they're stopping:

July 18, Calgary, AB - Pengrowth Saddledome
September 12, London, ON - John Labatt centre
September 14, Quebec City, QC - Colisee du Quebec
September 15, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
September 19, Toronto, ON - Air Canada Centre
September 20, Ottawa, ON - Scotiabank Place

I did not see Rush live until 2002. My seats are reserved at Smirnoff Centre, Dallas, for August 11, and I will dodge every snake and arrow to get there from West Texas.

Rush is a concert band as well as a visual band. If you have never gone to a rush concert, what are you waiting for!!
Well worth the ticket price.

Saw the Tampa Rush show last night - I'm seriously debating if the show topped what I saw of Pink Floyd in 1992 - IT WAS THAT GOOD! If you get the chance - GO - this level of concert is just not seen any more.
