K-OS ready to descend upon America

Published: 2007-02-15
Toronto-based and Trinidad born alternative-hip hop artist, K-OS, is ready to breakthrough in the states. He has officially signed with the American wing of Virgin Records and is prepping the re-release of Atlantis-Hymns for Disco for the American side of the border.

K-OS is set to premiere his video for his widely played Canadian single for "Sunday Morning", which has been already greeted with immediate airplay in diverse Top 40, Modern Rock, and Hot AC formats at its Canadian release late last year. The video will debut as a part of VH1 Soul's Black History Month's Celebrations. This will happen on February 19, which will be on the eve of his album release.

On the night of his album release on February 20, K-OS will perform on the Late Show with David Letterman, which will help to kickoff his coast-to-coast U.S. tour with the Gym Class Heroes, RX Bandits, and P.O.S. K-OS will also partake in this summer's Vans Warped Tour.
