Rex Goudie Looks Closer on the Road

Published: 2007-02-14
Newfoundland singer-songwriter Rex Goudie is touring the East Coast this spring with his sophomore disc.

Canadians got to know Goudie in 2005 when he made it to the finals in the third edition of Canadian Idol. Goudie eventually lost the title to his girlfriend Melissa O'Neil but still managed a successful debut album that was nominated for two Juno Awards.

His sophomore disc Look Closer was released in 2006 and now the Newfoundland native is taking it on the road on the East Coast. Prior to hitting the road he'll make a stop in Toronto for the Canadian Radio Music Awards where he's up for three awards.

Here's where he's headed:

March 22, St. John's NF - Mile One Centre
March 23, Corner Brook, F - Pepsi Centre
March 25, Fredericton, NB - Fredericton Playhouse
March 26, Moncton, NB - Capitol Theatre
March 27, Sydney, NB - Savoy Theatre
March 28, Halifax, NS - Rebecca Cohn Auditorium
