The first couple of acts set to perform at this year's Juno awards have been announced, multi-platinum selling rockers Billy Talent and Three Days Grace.

As previously reported Nelly Furtado will be hosting the 36th annual awards show taking place in Saskatoon on April 1.

The two bands are no stranger to the awards show both being nominated for new group of the year in the 2004 ceremony, an award which Billy Talent ended up taking home. In 2005 Billy Talent also took home a couple more Junos for Group of the Year and Album of the Year. They will be interrupting their headlining US tour behind their sophomore disc Billy Talent II to play at the Junos. Three Days Grace are also in the midst of a headlining US tour behind their new record One-X.

500 Juno early bird packages are also currently on sale at Ticketmaster that include a floor ticket to the Junos, a wristband to attend JunoFest a two night musical showcase at venues across Saskatoon on March 30-31 and a ticket to the Songwriter's Circle on Sunday April 1 prior to the awards show.

Individual tickets to the awards show will go on sale February 10 at 11am ET for $80-$150.
