Macy Gray Releases 'Big' Record

Published: 2007-02-05
After nearly four years, raspy voiced soul singer Macy Gray is releasing a new album.

Gray burst onto the scene in 1999 with her single "I Try" from her debut album On How Life Is that scored her a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Though she's released a couple of records since then little has been heard from her on the Billboard charts.

Her new record Big, due out March 27 is her third full length release but her first on the Will.I.Am music group/Geffen. The record will feature quite a few big names including Will.I.Am and Justin Timberlake both producing and performing on the record. You'll also hear the voices of Will.I.Am's fellow black eyed pea Fergie, classic crooner Natalie Cole and rapper Nas on the record.

You can get a sneak peek at the new songs on her official website. Here's her track list:

"Finally Made Me Happy"
"Shoo Be Doo"
"What I Gotta Do"
"Glad You're Here"
"Ghetto Love"
"Get Out"
"Treat Me Like Your Money"
"Strange Behavior"
